Barb Rehg

Barbara Rehg is a mixed-media artist. Her abstract expressionist work is characterized by a lyrical use of line, color and composition, fusing forms that plays with the viewer’s perceptions.

Ms Rehg received her BA in Fine Arts from Webster College in St. Louis. Over the years she continued taking watercolor classes. Deanna Sirlin and Skip Lawrence are two key figures who have influenced her.

She became a member of the Women’s Caucus for Art, Georgia chapter in 2001. In 2005 as part of the board, she assisted with the WCA National Conference program and exhibit. She went on to become Exhibit chair, Newsletter editor, secretary, VP and finally president for four years. During that time she increased the number and venues for the exhibit program, extending the opportunities beyond Georgia to South and North Carolina. Currently she continues as the Exhibit Chair for WCAGA and a Board member.
